Anybody who knows me, is aware of my Tim Curry obsession. That, and how he was the biggest inspiration for Josephine. In this video, I show highlights of my video chats with Tim, along with Josephine performing the song "Fanfare" from Rocky Horror in a home video. At the end, there's a special cameo from my cat, Tiptoe. I love my character Josephine, I love Tim Curry, and I love my cats. I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed putting it all together!
This is an old video of Josephine. I'm sure you've already figured that out, just by looking at the retired wig (and profound lack of 'bust'). But nonetheless, this is one of my favorite videos simply because it demonstrates one of the greatest joys in life: collaborating with your best friends. Joseph Schreiner (the musician in this video) is my BFF for life. We became close pals when we met in 2009 as performers for The Felt Show (an adult comedy puppet troupe) in Lawrence, KS. That was 17 years ago and we are still besties to this very day. When you have friends who also carry an artistic medium of some sort, ALWAYS find ways to collaborate. Even if you both do entirely different things, find that common ground. You'll look back on those days smiling like you've never smiled before. This video is one that I treasure forever... Even though Josephine's voice kind of fades into the background. But luckily, I have provided captions for you. Enjoy =)
This is the very first post I've made with my character, Apple Jack. It's late Autumn, so now seems like the best time to post anything apple-related. In this video, we're going back to the debate about pumpkin spice vs. apple spice. He's lucky I am more of a pumpkin spice person. Enjoy! This is my first video in a while. Decided to throw in a little vent challenge. Salty S. Cargo takes on one of the longest words in the English language. But which one is it? Tune in, and you'll see ;) This was a compliment from one of the most inspirational performers I ever knew. Louise ImMasche was a performer friend of mine. Granted, we didn't know each other super well, but we loved each others' work. Louise has inspired me more than almost any performer I've ever met. They had this radiance about them that was contagious and refreshing. It's not often you encounter an artist in life who is both supremely talented and without an ego.
The first time I saw Louise on stage was back in October of 2023. They performed as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in a production of The Rocky Horror Show. Anybody who knows me will tell you how much RHPC means to me. Louise's performance was so profound that I took the liberty of friending them on Facebook immediately. I don't do that often, but Louise was that incredible on stage. Connecting with other performers to collaborate with is always a goal. We did get to perform in a Christmas Variety show together, and it was a night I'll remember for the rest of my life. I feel like I've known Louise for years. Even the most brief moments together felt magical. On stage, Louise was vigorous and majestic. There will never be another like them. That one compliment from Lousie over Facebook means more to me than any award or television appearance I've ever earned. I don't even care about "winning" things any more. I care about winning hearts, and Louise certainly won mine. Rest well, beautiful angel. It was an absolute honor to watch you perform one last time. Wanna see some weird wild stuff? There's 4 ways you can really freak somebody out by using ventriloquism! What's Cybil's take on the new "grandpacore" fashion trend? Watch and you'll see! Happy Holidays, everybody! Please enjoy this playful little video of Josephine and I having a "holiday trivia" moment. Most people can ace this particular question, but can she? Watch and find out! RATED G Here's a little operatic number! At least it's supposed to be, anyhow. Nonetheless, enjoy! |
